ABOUT BUNKER DRAIN
Bunker Drain is a permeable, polymer-treated gravel layer, used for the lining of bunkers, separating the bunker base from the bunker sand. The process involves binding specified aggregates with our formulated polymer to yield a strong, water and air permeable bunker liner.
SUPERIOR PLAYABILITY & CONSISTENCY
With Bunker Drain Liner, water is able to drain freely through the bunker sand and then laterally through the Bunker Drain liner towards the drain pipes at >5000mm/hr. It also seals off the bunker subgrade and protects the drainage, leaving the bunker sand clean and able to perform as intended.
CUTTING EDGE INNOVATION
Using a permeable, polymer-treated gravel layer, to line the bunker, separating the bunker base from the bunker sand. We uniquely bind specified aggregate with our formulated polymer to yield a strong, water and air permeable wearing course together. The layer is resistant yet flexible, it will not crack, break down or disintegrate like other liners, while producing a superior drainage blanket with pore spaces of approximately 40% for water to escape the bunker sand, enabling it to move laterally toward the drainage pipes.
Our industry leading polymer formula comes from considerable global R&B resources which will not be affected by weather-caused soil expansion or contraction – it moves with the soil, rather than resisting it. The cured polymer is flexible and won’t become brittle with age.
